Description
Super sharp, double cased, ninth plate ruby ambrotypes of two unidentified Federal infantryman. Perhaps the two men were related. They strike similar poses dressed in infantry frocks and well worn forage caps. Both men also equipped with US waist belts with a cap box visible and their cartridge box’s worn over the shoulder. The man to the left displays his musket with the bayonet attached while his fellow soldier grips a revolver which he has tucked into his belt. Wonderful clarity to this two images. Housed in a full thermoplastic case.
