Quarter plate tintype of three Federal soldiers chumming it up for the camera. They certainly have the tough appearance of Western Theater troops. Each man wears a different type of head gear with the man to left having what appears to be the numeral”17″ pinned to the front of his lid. Great pose of this trio of rough and ready troops. Housed in a full leatherette case with a split spine and missing the bottom edge of the case.
