Quarter plate tintype of a Federal cavalryman. He is posed here in front of what is referred to as the “Fredericksburg” back drop. While the exact location is not known, it has been determined that the camp was somewhere in the Fredericksburg vicinity. Full standing pose of this trooper, giving a great view of those re-enforced cavalry trousers. This one is slightly trimmed It does come housed in a beat up half case with the mat but no preserver..
