Carte view of an unidentified woman sporting a large silk hoop skirt and black lace gloves. Held between her fingers is a sixth plate size image housed in a leatherette case with her thumb resting between the image and silk pad. This one is back marked out of Galena, Illinois with a cancelled tax stamp.
