Description
Sixth plate ambrotype which appears to be the work of famed Richmond photographer Charles Rees. Beautiful image as is generally the case as far as Rees images are concerned. Unfortunately it is not signed. Seated pose of this young woman as she visited the studio on what was apparently a chilly day. Wearing a dress decorated in polka dots with this large shawl wrapped around her shoulders. Beautiful soft emulsion image. Housed in a full leatherette case.
