Really neat picture in picture sixth plate daguerreotype. Seated pose of this dark haired woman as she cradles another daguerreotype in her lap. It almost appears to be an image of this very image itself even though that would be impossible. The subject within the image itself is dressed similarly, holds their hands in the same position and it even has the same mat as this image. This image comes housed in a half case but we can see that the image she holds had a purple velvet pad. Very nice clarity to this image. It does still retain the original seals as well. Really cool dag!
