Description
Beautiful sixth plate tintype of a Federal cavalryman. Dressed in his great coat and cape, he wears a pair of knit wool gloves. He also sports this fabulous M1858 Hardee hat while the coat has been shaded a beautiful light blue. It’s not often we see soldiers wearing winter gloves! This one comes with the patriotic matting and is housed in a full thermoplastic case which displays a slight bit of damage.
