Description
Quarter plate tintype of a Federal cavalryman. He is photographed here in front of the back drop of G.W. Casilear of Washington, D.C. Dressed in his service jacket, he holds the rank of corporal. His trousers have been tinted a light blue, while he sports a pair of gauntlets and rests on his sword. A revolver can be seen tucked into his belt as well. This one is a bit on the dark side. Good content however and in the quarter plate size. Housed in a half leatherette case.
