Description
Seldom found carte view pertaining to the 10th U.S.C.T. Heavy Artillery. This is a collage of all of the officers from the regiment. The regiment was organized in April of 1864 and would serve in the defense of New Orleans. There are a total of 46 officers shown in this view. The bottom of the carte is titled “Officers 10th U.S.C Arty. Hevy”. The reverse of this card has a period pencil identification of every officer shown. Back marked out of Baton Rouge.
