Description
Beautiful, early war, quarter plate ruby ambrotype of an unidentified member of the 6th New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry. Standing pose with his infantry frock worn open and resting both hands on his hips. In typical New Hampshire fashion, his cap is resting on the chair displaying his New Hampshire hat brass. The letter N.H.V are clearly visible with the numeral “6” centered in the brass infantry insignia. Really sharp looking New Hampshire image! This one comes housed in a full leatherette case with a split spine.
