Wonderful sixth plate daguerreotype of this new mother photographed with her baby. She sits dressed in this beautiful patterned dress with a white lace collar and black velvet choker. Her young child rests in her lap, blurred by his movement. Outstanding clarity to this view and near zero flaws. It does come housed in a half leatherette case.
