Description
Bust portrait carte view of New Hampshire native, Captain Arthur Mills. Mills would be commissioned a captain and assistant quartermaster on November 9, 1862. He would serve in that role until his discharge in July, 1866. This example has a very nice period ink signature on both the front and back reading “A. H. Mills”. Back marked out of St. Louis.
