Description
Sixth plate tintype of your typical Federal infantryman. Studio pose of this infantryman dressed in his Federal infantry frock, forage cap and outfitted with a full compliment of US accouterments. He even carried his musket to the photographers studio for this pose. Very nice view. It is a little soft around the skirt area but is otherwise nice and sharp. Housed in a full leatherette case with a tax stamp on the reverse of the image.
