Description
Quarter plate tintype of a Federal cavalryman. Full standing pose of this horseman dressed in his cavalry uniform. He is posed with his cavalry saber drawn from the scabbard and planted directly in front. Standing posed in front of what is referred to as the “Dark Horse” back drop due to the officer in the lower right hand corner leading a black horse by the reins. This one does have several minor creases through it and is a bit dark. It’s housed in a full leatherette case with a split spine.
