Description
Sixth plate ruby ambrotype of a Federal infantryman dressed in his great coat and cape. Nice subtle light blue hue to the coat. His cap bears his unit designation, although partially obscured by by the fold on the cap. A single barrel shotgun is held at his side which is no doubt a photographers prop. Numerous nicks and scratches to the surface of this one but still a nice looking image. Housed in a full leatherette case with a repaired spine.
