Description
This is a rather neat ninth plate ruby ambrotype of an unknown Federal soldier. Unusual profile and up close view of this subject with his curly locks. The emulsion on this one has oxidized rather uniquely creating what appears to be almost a mirror like, 3-D l view of the soldier. It gives this image a really great look in my opinion. Housed in a very nice patriotic thermoplastic case as well.
