Description
Extremely nice pair of double cased sixth plate ambrotypes C.1860. These feature a view of a husband and wife and on the other side their infant child. Nice, clear views as the husband stands next to his wife. Worn around her neck is a small brooch which contains a photograph of her husband. Their infant daughter sits in a small high chair with a hand painted head rest visible. Both of these still retain their original seals. Housed in a mint double sided thermoplastic case. Very nice pair of ambrotypes.
