Really cool sixth plate tintype of this cigar chomping Federal infantryman. Seated in a studio chair, he steadies with his hand, a sixth plate image which rests on the table beside him. One can clearly see that the image is of a woman and young girl. I think it can safely assumed that these two women were his wife and daughter. Really neat content that you don’t see very often. Poignant as well. Housed in a full leatherette case with a repaired spine.
