Description
Wonderful quarter plate clear glass ambrotype circa late 1850’s. Outdoor view of what is most likely a doctor posed along side his horse drawn carriage. The man stands dressed in a suit and carrying his medical bag. Directly behind him is his small horse drawn carriage still hitched to the horse. A stone wall can be seen running the length of the image in the back ground with a number of pines trees shown. Shades of green tint have been applied to the pine trees in the back and grass in the foreground. Really neat outdoor view. This one does come housed in a half leatherette case.
