Wonderful sixth plate tintype of an unidentified firefighter from the city of Saco, Maine. Circa. 1880. Dressed in his heavy cotton firefighter blouse with large brass coin buttons. Wearing his fireman’s belt with the words “SACO, ME” visible on the face of the belt. This one comes housed in a mint thermoplastic “Firefighter” case as well. Beautiful image and case!
