Description
Beautiful sixth plate ruby ambrotype of an unidentified Confederate officer. This dashing officer wears the rank of captain although only one bar has been tinted on the collar on either side. Dressed in a grey double breasted frock with what look to be Confederate staff officers buttons. Wonderful, crystal clear image with is piercing blue eyes. Quite the handsome officer. I am sure he was the envy of many a southern bell in his magnificent uniform. This one comes housed in a half leatherette case. Gorgeous image!
