Description
Beautiful 1860’s period, sixth plate tintype of a woman posed with this eloquently carved hand fan. With her pair pulled back and wearing spectacles, she sits with a black shawl worn over her shoulders. A decorative pin holding the flaps of the shawl closed. In her hand she holds this wonderfully carved hand fan consisting of 9 finely carved blades and constructed of black silk. Wonderful image and crystal clear with unique content. Housed in a half leatherette case.
