Beautifully tinted, tintype view in the CDV size format. This view depicts a veteran infantry sergeant. Full standing pose wearing his military jacket with sergeants rank and veterans stripe visible. He also sports a pair of striped NCO trousers. A large circular, silver id badge is pinned the breast of his jacket while his chasseur cap rests on the table with the numeral “8” pinned to the front of the cap. Wonderful tinting to this image to include the light blue of his vest a trousers and shades of pink and green added to the table cloth. Housed in a half leatherette case.
