Description
Nice little ninth plate tintype of a rebel soldier from the state of North Carolina. He is shown here dressed in the jean cloth six-button state issued North Carolina shell jacket. This would have had state buttons running down the front but unfortunately they are not visible to the eye here. A leather belt is worn with a single roller buckle visible and a large coffin handled side knife housed in the scabbard worn on the hip. Housed in a full leatherette case.
