Description
Large albumen of a derailed locomotive. It appears that maybe the bridge collapsed and they have rebuilt the bridge with the locomotive laying in the gully below. It’s pretty well destroyed so it obviously took quite a fall. Lots of really great detail in this image. There is a pencil notation on the reverse that simply states the date of 1902. I have no idea where this was taken. There is some staining to the surface along the top and a piece missing out of the upper, right corner. Measures 8″ x 10″.
