One of the Holy Grails for Iron Brigade collectors. This is a wonderful and extremely rare, silk Iron Brigade reunion ribbon from the 1886 reunion held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Measuring nearly 9″ in length, “IRON BRIGADE” in bold print lines the top of the ribbon. Below is a representation of the badge for the 1st Corps, 1st Division in red. Also listed are all of the commanders of the brigade, the regiments which made up this historic unit as well as all the battles in which they were engaged. No tears, rips or separation on this one. About as nice of an example as you are going find anywhere!
