Description
Ninth plate tintype of an unidentified Federal infantryman. Dressed in a four button sack coat, he wears his cap tilted to one side with the visor flipped skyward. His arm rests on the small table at his side but I have no idea what he has laying on that table. This one has a tax stamp on the reverse dated January, 1865 by a photographer with the last name of Brown. Housed in a half case.
