Carte view of a unidentified Federal soldier. Dressed in a service jacket, veterans service stripes are visible on the sleeve of the coat. He sits with this wonderful shawl worn draped over the shoulders. His very somber appearance and the shawl makes me wonder if maybe he was not well and was photographed in some hospital. He hold his cap in his lap with a large 5th Corps badge sewn to the top. No back mark on this one but some neat content you don’t often see.
