Description
Beautiful quarter plate daguerreotype of a mother and her young son. The mother sits with her arm around her son, pulling him into a tight embrace. In his hands he holds a cherished toy. A porcelain statue of a dog. Wonderful image with almost no flaws. This one does still retain all of the original seals and is sealed up tight as a drum so I didn’t want to mess with it. Housed in a half leatherette case.
