Description

Sixth plate tintype. I have no idea what we are actually looking at here. Possibly a Native American child dressing up for some ceremonial purpose. He is most definitely from Native American ancestry. A large head dress is worn made out of turkey feathers as well as a multi-colored sash and a gold skeleton key is worn at the neck line. Armed with a toy pistol which he has pulled from the holster and displays for the camera. A number of other decorative accessories are also worn. Interesting image. Housed in a full leatherette case.
