Outstanding sixth plate tintype of a pair of yanks acting out a scene for the camera. This yank has apparently captured himself a rebel prisoner and holds him at gun point to prevent his escape. Dressed in full Federal regalia this infantryman stands next to his foe with is hand on his neck with is revolver pointed directly at his face. Gun safety? Never heard of it.. His prisoner sits in a camp chair dressed in an elaborate shirt and light trousers. Presumably to give the impression of a Confederate soldier. His head is slightly blurred as he wheels around in surprise at his unexpected capture. Wonderful view. Don’t see these types of scenes very often. This one comes housed in a full leatherette case. Killer image!
