Description
Heavily tinted carte view of a Federal officer. Standing pose dressed in his frock with his sword hanging at his side. This one has an old ink id on the reverse reading “Wilson Wallace formerly of Fabius , NY”. There are only two men listed with that name that served during the war and neither of them appear to have held the rank of a lieutenant. A little research could probably easily track him down. No back mark on this one.
