Description
Late 1850’s, early 1860’s sixth plate family portrait ambrotype. This view depicts a husband and wife photographed with their two children. The father sits with their young daughter resting in his lap. The elder brother can be seen standing behind his father with his armed draped over his fathers shoulder. Mother sits with arms folded and leaning slightly into her husband. This one has an old ink id inside the case which identifies the subjects as “Wm P. McCall” and “L.M. McCall”. No other information about them is known unfortunately. Wonderful image regardless. Housed in a full leatherette case.
