Description
Very nice sixth plate tintype of this Federal infantryman posed with the American flag. I believe this was a Michigan photographer. He stands next to this large pillar dressed in a four button sack coat and holding the flag staff to the US flag. Nice red, white and blue tinting to the flag with a mountainous scene behind the subject. Housed in a full leatherette case.
