Description
Wonderful sixth plate daguerreotype of a man seated with his dog. The well dressed man sits on a bench seat with his dog resting partially on his lap with the male subject draping his arm affectionally over his loved pet. The dog appears to be a Newfoundland. This image looks far better in hand with great clarity. The mat is stamped by photographer Paul Beck of Pennsylvania. Housed in a full leatherette case.
